Description
Dreamlink W3 1200 Mbps USB Wi-Fi Antenna
An external dual-band USB Wi-Fi adapter for compatible receivers and computers. Compare its supported wireless class and device compatibility with the W2 before ordering.
Key features
- Dual-band wireless: up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz, marketed as the 1200 Mbps class.
- External antenna.
- USB connection; operation depends on compatible device drivers.
- 1 m USB extension cable for positioning.
Compatibility
Confirm support for this exact W3 adapter on your receiver or computer before ordering. A USB port alone does not establish Wi-Fi-adapter compatibility. The operating system and firmware must support the adapter; a Windows driver cannot be assumed to work on an Android receiver. Contact us with the exact device model for help.
W2 vs W3
The W3 is listed in a higher wireless speed class than the W2. That does not guarantee twice the range, antenna gain or real-world throughput. Actual speed depends on the router, signal, interference and host-device support. The advertised band rates are not added together for a single connection.
