Choose by the features you will use
- Z12 Pro: consider it for a Gigabit Ethernet installation when 16 GB storage, HDR10+ and the BT1 voice remote meet your needs.
- Z12 Ultra SE: compare it when you want Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 6E, 64 GB storage and the backlit BT3 remote without needing the Ultra's additional memory.
- Z12 Ultra: consider its 4 GB memory and 128 GB storage when additional capacity matters for your apps and supported recordings.

Is there a Formuler Z12 Pro Max?
No. As of September 2026, Formuler's official lineup lists three Z12 models: the Z12 Pro, Z12 Ultra SE and Z12 Ultra. "Pro Max" is the name of the previous-generation Formuler Z11 Pro Max and the Z10 Pro Max. If you searched for a Z12 Pro Max, choose by the feature you want:
- Most memory and storage in the Z12 range: the Z12 Ultra, with 4 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage (the Z11 Pro Max has 4 GB and 32 GB).
- The entry Z12 model: the Formuler Z12 Pro, with 2 GB / 16 GB, Gigabit Ethernet, HDR10+ and the BT1 voice remote.
- Dolby Vision and Wi-Fi 6E without the Ultra's extra memory: the Z12 Ultra SE.
All three Z12 models run Android 12 and support MYTVOnline 4; the Z11 Pro Max runs Android 11 with MYTVOnline 3.

Specifications: Formuler Z12 Pro, Z12 Ultra SE and Z12 Ultra. Usable storage is less than the advertised capacity because system software uses part of it.
MYTVOnline 4 is not exclusive to the Pro and SE
Formuler's official MYTVOnline 4 release announcement covers the Z12 series. The Z12 Ultra launched with MYTVOnline 3, but that is no longer a reason to exclude it when choosing a MYTVOnline 4 receiver. Older stock or Open Box units may need an update. Open the Software Update app, check the available release and read its details before installing. Do not assume every unit has already been updated.

Recording: capacity is not a performance guarantee
Both the Ultra SE and Ultra advertise internal recording and timeshift, with 64 GB and 128 GB respectively. The Ultra is not the only Z12 model capable of internal recording. Recording duration depends on bitrate and free space; access to channels and simultaneous streams depends on your lawful content source. Confirm the storage options supported by the exact app and firmware, especially on the 16 GB Pro. More memory does not by itself guarantee every app will run faster.
Picture, sound and networking
Choose Dolby features only after checking the television, audio system, content and app you use. An HDR label does not guarantee identical picture quality across all devices. Wi-Fi 6E requires a compatible router and a usable signal for its additional capabilities; it is not a promise of better reception in every room. All three models offer Gigabit Ethernet, so an available network cable can make wireless differences less important to your choice.
Remote and package checks
The Pro includes a BT1; the Ultra SE and Ultra include a BT3 with backlit keys. Voice, programmable controls and television commands depend on setup and device support. Consult each product listing for batteries, covers and other included accessories. Open Box contents and cosmetic condition should be checked separately.
Channels and streaming-app compatibility
No channels or programming are included with these receivers — they are hardware only. A 4K specification or Widevine support does not guarantee certification by a streaming service or a particular resolution in third-party streaming services. Confirm the provider's current support for your exact device, app, region and account before ordering.
