Frequently asked questions
What is the main difference from the Z12 Ultra SE?
The Z12 Ultra has 4 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage; the Ultra SE has 2 GB and 64 GB. Both include Wi-Fi 6E, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and a backlit BT3 remote. Both support MYTVOnline 4, although an older Z12 Ultra may need the official update.
Can the Z12 Ultra record to internal storage without a USB drive?
Yes. The Z12 Ultra supports internal recording and timeshift using its built-in storage, so a USB drive is not required for those supported functions. Available space is less than 128 GB because the system, apps and other files use some capacity. Recording time depends on video quality and available space; your content source, app and settings must support recording. Check the installed software version and follow our MYTVOnline 4 recording and storage setup guide.
Can the storage be expanded?
Yes. The receiver includes a microSD slot and USB connections for compatible storage.
Does it include channels or programming?
No. It is hardware only — a media receiver with nothing pre-loaded. Add your own lawful content source and confirm compatibility before ordering.
When is standard shipping free?
Standard shipping to Canada and the USA is free when the order subtotal is over US$99 after discounts and before taxes. Orders of US$99 or less and optional express services use the rates shown at checkout.
