Android 12 does not change the app to MYTVOnline 3

Formuler's official Android 12 update retains MYTVOnline 2. The installed operating-system version depends on the unit's update history. Review the release notes and preserve supported backups before updating; the announcement states that its software cannot be rolled back after installation. Follow the device's official update instructions rather than installing firmware for another model.
For MYTVOnline 2, use Menu > Connections. The official connection guide distinguishes version 2 from the Content Manager menu in version 3 and the App Settings menu in version 4. No channels or programming are included — the receiver is hardware only. Check provider compatibility and any device registration before replacing a working receiver.
Streaming apps: verify the exact service
Google Play offers compatible Android TV apps, but app availability, login support, HDR and maximum resolution can depend on the provider, region and account. Google certification and Widevine L1 do not guarantee HD or 4K playback in every app. Consult the service’s supported-device information before ordering for a specific premium app. Android TV and the Google TV interface are not interchangeable names.
Remote, package and recording checks
The GTV package includes its receiver, BT1 remote, HDMI cable, power supply and setup guide; verify other accessories and the selected bonus option on the product page. An Open Box package should be checked separately for condition and contents.
BT1 voice functions require Bluetooth pairing and app support. For pairing, hold OK + MENU to enter discovery mode, then use Settings > Remotes & Accessories to select the remote. Television-control programming is a separate setup. See Formuler's pairing instructions.
MYTVOnline 2 supports recording and timeshift with a compatible source and suitable external storage. Confirm recording permissions, supported storage and free space; an individual streaming app may not allow recording. Back up a drive before formatting it and test a short recording before scheduling important content.
Who should compare the GTV?
Consider it when you need its Android TV, Chromecast, MYTVOnline 2 and Gigabit-networking combination and have confirmed your app requirements. Compare the Formuler catalogue when you need MYTVOnline 3 or 4, different picture formats or more capacity. Choosing a newer model does not remove the need to check provider support.
