Formuler Z mini Factory Reset: Picture Guide

Follow this illustrated guide to factory reset a Formuler Z mini, including when its normal menus are inaccessible.

1. Disconnect power

Unplug the Z mini’s power cable.

2. Hold the device button while reconnecting power

Find the small button shown below. Hold it down, reconnect power and keep holding until Android Recovery appears. Then release it.

3. Navigate the recovery menu

Use the button on the device: a short press advances the highlight; a long press selects the highlighted item.

4. Choose the reset option

Move to Wipe data/factory reset, then hold the button to select it.

5. Confirm and wait

Select Factory data reset. Leave power connected and wait for Data wipe complete.

6. Restart the Z mini

Select Reboot system now to restart.
