This guide is for a receiver with MYTVOnline 3 actually installed. Start by checking the app name and version on your device. Do not choose instructions from the Android version alone: different Formuler generations use different MYTVOnline apps.

Formuler's official connection guide separates the menus for versions 2, 3 and 4. Its MYTVOnline 4 release announcement covers Z12-series devices. An older or Open Box unit may not yet have the latest available software installed.
Before starting
Have the receiver, its correct power supply, the television connection and remote ready. You also need a working network and the connection details for your own lawful content source. No channels or programming are included with the hardware — it is hardware only. Keep any existing settings backup before replacing an installation; do not delete a working configuration just to follow this guide.
1. Connect the receiver and network
Connect the receiver to the television, select the matching HDMI input and use the power supply specified for that model. Do not interchange adapters simply because a connector fits. Follow the initial language and network prompts. In the device's network settings, select your Wi-Fi network and enter its password, or connect Ethernet where the receiver has a suitable port.
The Z mini has no built-in Ethernet port; do not follow a wired-port instruction intended for a different box. Before purchasing a USB keyboard, Wi-Fi adapter or hub, confirm compatibility with the exact receiver. An accessory does not automatically cure buffering.
2. Check official updates and open the right app
Use the receiver's Software Update app to review the available official release. Follow the on-screen instructions and keep power connected during installation. Then confirm which MYTVOnline version is installed. On a Z12 Ultra that has moved to version 4, stop using this version 3 walkthrough and follow Formuler's version 4 guidance instead. Avoid unofficial replacement firmware or APKs offered as universal upgrades.
3. Add your provider through Content Manager
In MYTVOnline 3, open Menu > Content Manager > Content Sources and choose the connection type your provider supplied. Enter the details exactly as given, including any required device registration, then save and connect. Formuler's official connection guide explains what each connection type requires; your provider supplies the details themselves. On Z11, Formuler documents where the receiver's own device identifier is shown on the connection screen, which some providers ask you to register on their side.
Give the source a recognisable nickname, check for spaces or typing errors, and connect. See Formuler's Z11 connection instructions. Do not post account details or screenshots containing credentials publicly.
4. Complete the setup wizard and organise content
Complete the setup wizard after registering the source. Choose which available television, video-on-demand and series groups to display. To change group visibility later, use Content Manager > Manage Groups, select the relevant category and open Show & Hide Groups. Keep useful channels in favourites; hiding a group does not change your provider's channel offering. See the official group-management instructions.
MYTVOnline 3 can keep multiple registered sources connected; this does not grant extra simultaneous streams from a provider. Available content, catch-up and programme-guide coverage depend on the provider. A seven-day EPG is not guaranteed. Use the available parental controls and keep the PIN private.
5. Test playback before configuring recording
Test a few channels or programmes included in your provider's offering, with picture and sound settings appropriate to the television. A successful connection does not guarantee every channel or format will work. Establish basic playback first so that a later recording issue is easier to isolate.
For recording or timeshift, confirm the storage destinations supported by your exact receiver, firmware and app. Not every model has a microSD slot or the same USB connections. Check free space and make a short recording, then play it back before scheduling something important. Formatting a drive erases its contents: back it up first and do not format a drive merely because a generic guide says to.
Picture-in-Picture does not prove that two channels can be recorded simultaneously. Recording while watching another stream depends on the receiver's supported functions and your provider's connection permissions, not a blanket single-tuner rule. Fix programme-guide times in MYTVOnline 3
If programmes appear at the wrong time, first check the receiver's date and time zone. Then open Content Manager > Content Source, select the current connection and choose Edit. Scroll to the EPG offset, adjust it when needed and select Update. Reopen the programme guide and compare its timeline with the programme currently playing.
These are Formuler's MYTVOnline 3 EPG-offset steps. An offset changes programme timing; it cannot supply listings that your provider has not made available. For missing content, check hidden groups and the provider's available data before changing an offset.
MYTVOnline 3 not working? Start with these checks
First identify whether the problem affects one programme, MYTVOnline 3, or the receiver’s internet connection.
- Compare: test another programme and another online app on the same receiver.
- Verify: check network access, then ask your content source about account activation, connection limits or an outage.
- Restart and review: note your app and firmware versions, restart the app or receiver, and check official updates. Keep power connected during updates.
